Compress images for online forms, applications and documents — right in your browser.
About PixelLite
PixelLite is a browser-based image compression tool designed to help people make image files smaller for online forms, applications, documents and everyday sharing.
The tool lets you select a JPG, PNG or WebP image, choose a maximum target size, adjust the quality setting and download a compressed JPEG result. The current tool performs image processing in your browser using the device's built-in web capabilities.
PixelLite is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google. We aim to make the tool straightforward and explain its limitations clearly.

Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
1. Image processing
In the current version of PixelLite, the selected image is processed in your browser. The page uses browser-side image and canvas features to create the compressed file. The website code provided here does not upload the selected image to a PixelLite server or store it in a PixelLite database. Your browser may keep temporary in-memory data while the page is open.
2. Information you provide
The current tool does not require an account or sign-up. If you contact us by email, we will receive the information you choose to include in that message and use it to respond to your enquiry.
3. Cookies, advertising and third parties
At the time this policy was prepared, this supplied page does not itself set advertising cookies or include Google AdSense code. If advertising services such as Google AdSense are added later, Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or similar technologies to collect or receive information from this site and other sites to provide, measure and improve advertising. This policy must be updated before advertising is enabled to accurately describe the services, data uses, consent choices and applicable regional requirements.
For information about Google's data practices, users can read How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
4. Data sharing and retention
PixelLite does not receive the image file through the browser-side compression flow in this version. We do not claim that email providers, hosting providers, browsers or any advertising partners have no access to their own service-related data; their handling is governed by their own policies.
5. Children's privacy
PixelLite is a general-purpose utility and is not designed to request personal information from children. Please do not send sensitive personal information through the contact channel.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the tool, hosting, analytics or advertising features change. The latest revision date will be shown at the top of this page.
Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 October 2026
1. Use of the tool
You may use PixelLite for lawful, personal or business image-compression tasks. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to use any image you select.
2. No guarantee of a particular result
Compression results depend on the original image, its dimensions, format and selected quality. PixelLite cannot guarantee that every image will reach the selected file-size limit or retain every detail. Review the downloaded image before using or submitting it.
3. Your files and responsibility
In the current browser-based version, image processing happens on your device and the page does not upload the selected image to a PixelLite server. Keep your own original copy of important files. You are responsible for checking the output and complying with the rules of any website or organisation where you submit it.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the service for unlawful purposes, to violate another person's rights, or to interfere with the website or its users.
5. Availability and changes
The tool is provided on an “as available” basis. Features may change, be interrupted or become unavailable. We will try to keep information on this site accurate, but we do not promise uninterrupted service or error-free results.
6. Third-party services
The website may link to third-party websites or services. We do not control their content, availability or privacy practices. Their own terms and policies apply.
7. Contact
For questions about these terms, use the contact details shown in the Contact Us section.
How It Works
- Choose an image in JPG, PNG or WebP format, or drag it into the upload area.
- Select a maximum target size from 1 MB to 3 MB.
- Adjust the quality slider if needed, then select “Compress image”.
- Compare the original and compressed previews and check the resulting file size.
- Select “Download compressed image” to save the JPEG file to your device.
Image processing is performed locally in the browser in this version. The output is converted to JPEG; transparent areas are filled with white. The tool may reduce image dimensions and quality to try to meet the chosen maximum size. A target size is not guaranteed for every image, so always inspect the result for clarity and readability.
